Mid Cities Counseling Center, PLLC's mission is to provide individualized, high-quality mental health care on a personal level. As a psychotherapist and mental health counselor, I have created a practice that I believe in and would choose for my own family members. It is never easy to reach out for help, but it is the first step to a journey towards peace and joyful living.
After serving Combat Veterans' throughout Central Texas for many years, I decided to move closer to my family and establish my current practice serving DFW and the Mid Cities. I have a focus on starting where the client is and believe in working with my patients to maintain and improve their mental health and emotional well-being. We work together to create balance and peace during all stages of life. I provide services in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.
I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Masters of Science in Social Work. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from The University of North Texas. I am certified by the American Board of Social Worker Examiners and come to my practice with over 19 years of experience in diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders. I am a member of the National Association of Social Workers, in good standing, Academy of Clinical Social Workers and Certified Social Worker in Health Care. I am a member of the Association of VA Social Workers. I am also certified in the Prepare Enrich assessment for pre-marital and married couples, Gottman Trained and EMDR Trained. I am a Board Approved Supervisor and provide clinical supervision to Masters Level Clinicians working to obtain LCSW licensure. I will be completing certification in ADHD-CCSP (ADHD Certified Clinical Service Provider) in 2025.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Supervisor in the State of Texas. I graduated from Texas Christian University with my Masters in Social Work. I also hold a graduate certificate in Women and Gender Studies. My undergraduate degree is in Psychology from Eastern New Mexico University. I finished my Bachelors while serving in the United States Air Force as a Medic. I welcome clients who are first responders, military, and veterans.
Zeshan Mehmood, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with extensive expertise in mental health care. With his expertise in behavioral health medication services, Zeshan works collaboratively with our counseling and psychotherapy team to provide comprehensive care for a variety of mental health concerns, including Anxiety disorders, Depression, Bipolar disorder, ADHD, PTSD, Insomnia, Mood disorders, and other mental health conditions. Our integrated approach ensures that medication management and psychotherapy work in tandem to help clients achieve the best possible outcomes. Zeshan is dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive care to individuals experiencing a range of mental health conditions. His approach integrates evidence-based practices with a focus on personalized care, aiming to enhance the overall well-being of his patients. I am currently pursuing my Master of Arts in Counseling at Life Pacific University and am earning practicum hours to complete my clinical practice placement and Masters of Arts in Counseling, expected June 2026. Upon graduation I plan to continue as a clinician at Mid Cities Counseling Center, PLLC while working toward full licensure as an Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies Life Pacific University, San Dimas, CA and a Bachelor of Arts in Human Development and Psychology from Life Pacific University, San Dimas, CA.
